The Mount Sinai Center for Stress, Resilience and Personal Growth (CSRPG) is a resource available to all Mount Sinai faculty. Their mission is to provide scientifically grounded services that support the resilience and psychological well-being of the Mount Sinai community.
The Wellness app is just one branch extended to everyone from health care workers to students and trainees to help manage and mitigate distress and grow from challenges.
TL;DR
I helped redesign a cohesive experience for CSRPG’s mobile app.
My Role
Product Designer — Discovery, User Research, Design
Defining the problem
The first version of the app experience was quickly implemented to provide the resources. This was efficient in getting the information across but it lacked the user experience to really expand on its features.
Our goal is to create a user-friendly, comprehensive resource that enhances the psychological well-being and resilience of the Mount Sinai community. The app will focus on offering evidence-based services and tools tailored to the unique needs of faculty, staff, trainees, and medical and graduate students.
Designing our North Star
The app will provide scientifically-grounded resources, including articles, podcasts, and videos, aimed at promoting resilience, stress management, and psychological well-being
Visual Explorations
The redesigned app will feature an intuitive and streamlined interface, ensuring easy navigation and accessibility to various resources. Clear categorization and a user-centric design will enable users to swiftly access support services, educational materials, and tools.
